I was informed today that the Cellar’s in St. Paul and Roseville is closing soon. A new one will be opening up in conjunction with Byerly’s in Roseville and in Coon Rapids. Thanks for being a formative force in the Twin Cities craft beer scene, and here’s to new opportunities!

This is very cool… Ngon Vietnamese Bistro in St. Paul has added a beer engine and plans to offer a cask-conditioned beer at all times, not just on special dates. Their first cask will be Tea-Bagged Surly Furious followed by Lift Bridge Pale Ale. Very cool. For those of you playing along at home, they are now offering thirteen Minnesota beers on tap. Awesome!
The February issue of Metro includes a nod to Schell’s Bockfest in “The Metro5” as well as nods to The Muddy Pig, Blue Door Pub, Acadia Cafe, Nomad World Pub and Buster’s on 28th in “Beer Here.” Argue amongst yourselves.
