Stop by Rock Bottom Wednesday, August 13 at 6:00 pm for the tapping of their Catcher in the Rye Pale Ale.
For all you baseball fans, Minnesota Twin’s catcher Mike Redmond will be on hand to help brewer Byron Tonnis pour the first pints and will stick around to sign autographs until 7:00.
In case you’re wondering about the beer, Catcher in the Rye is made with 20% flaked rye and designed to start out smooth and malty yet finish with the hops an American Pale Ale should.
Easy cowboy, it’s just a mock-up. We get our first order of swag sometime next week. I ordered some simple ergo aluminum bottle openers with an etched logo. I think glassware and t-shirts will follow. Watch for the openers at beer events. Yes, they’ll be free.

Mark your calendars for August 27th at 7:00 pm. Tyranena will be at Stub and Herb’s for a talk & tasting. I’ve been to all but one of these events and have had a lot of fun each time.
