Come and celebrate Oktoberfest with us for two huge, thrill-filled days with some of the best Oktoberfest brews available from Tyranena, New Holland, Summit, Paulaner, Hocherschor, Surly and Warsteiner. The Gnome Oktoberfest starts at 5pm on Friday and Noon Saturday with a $5 cover charge, with food and drink tickets sold separately. Chef extraordinaire Matthew Hinman will be providing a tasting menu of his fantastic smoked meats.
9pm Crossing Guards with Martin Devaney
7pm Spider John Koerner
9pm Pert’ Near Sandstone
7pm Cadillac Kolstad & the Flats
It’d be nice to know about these things a little more in advance then getting an email 2 days before the event but they seem to always do this and send out the info just a day or two before the event.
Awesome! Pert’ Near should be good listen to get a little tipsy to on good beer.
I second the short time frame email notification comment. Businesses that have an email list, use them ! I am thinking it is relatively cheap and effective advertising, I know I end up frequenting places that either send me an email or end up with a posting on this site……
They did send out an email but it was just sent this morning. 2 days ahead of time doesn’t help. Most people already have plans for the following weekend at that point. I’ll be heading to Stillwater for Oktoberfest there at Gasthaus Bavarian Hunter.
The gnome sounds like it has a good o’fest selection. Ill be at the Stillwater tent party tonight. Going to the NE Gasthaus next saturday after ABR.
I wouldn’t bother going there after ABR. That’s something you need to do as it’s own event when you can start sober. Gasthof’s Oktoberfest starts this Friday (today) and runs every weekend for the next 4 weeks. Gasthaus’ Oktoberfest ends this weekend. Black Forest Inn’s 10 days of Oktoberfest starts Monday (Hasselhoff Night is next Friday).
We went out to eat, then walked to Gastofs after ABR last year, and multiple boots went down swimmingly. While in NE, might as well kill two birds with one stone. No need to pay 2x cabfare either
