Lift Bridge Dinner at Kings

One of the newest restaurants in the metro, Kings Wine Bar, is hosting a five course dinner designed by Chef Maccaroni paired with brews from Lift Bridge.

Menu
1st Course: Fall Acorn Squash From Dragsmith Farms Soup served with Parmesan Crisps and Farm Girl Saison
2nd Course: Pleasant Ridge Reserve Cheese served with Green House Micro Greens and House made Mustard. Served with Cross Cut Amber Ale.
3rd Course: Harvestor Cucumber Salad Pallet Cleanser. Served with Harvestor Fresh Hop Ale.
4th Course: Smoked Fischer Farms Pork Chop served with Hazelnut demi glaze, wilted Swiss chard and creamy orzo. Served with Chestnut Hill.
Vegetarian Option for Pork Chop:
Smoked Sietan With mushroom Ragout served with wilted beet greens and creamy orzo.

Dessert: Sautéed local apples and Pears with brown sugar and butter. Served with Farm Girl Saison infused with Raspberry Indulgence from Saint Croix Vineyards.

Town Hall Anniversary Week Continues

Town Hall’s Anniversary Week goodies continue to be rolled out through Saturday.

On Saturday October 24th we will celebrate our 12th Anniversary and welcome our newest Pint Club members. Memberships are still available through Friday October 23rd. Among other things, Pint Club members receive discounted beer prices (all the time) and free beer every Saturday from 4 PM to 5 PM.

Also on Saturday we will draw the winner of the first signed and numbered limited addition print of Town Hall’s 2009 Mai Bock Celebration (by artist Terrence Fogarty). Terry Fogarty is a famous local artist who’s work can be found at http://www.terrencefogarty.com/. The winner will receive the print with a deluxe museum quality frame. Raffle tickets will be sold up until the drawing at 5 PM, Saturday October 24th.

Thanks to all who have tasted the special Anniversary releases throughout the week. We have saved the best for last, so stop by Thursday, Friday and Saturday and help us celebrate. Barrel aged releases are tapped at 6 PM and served until they are gone.

Summit Unchained Continues

The second offering from Summit’s Unchained Series will be here soon!

Coming in November is the second beer in our new Unchained Series: 90/- Scottish Style Ale brewed with heather. Named after the old practice of taxing beers based on their strength, 90 Shilling is a traditional Wee Heavy style from brewer Eric Blomquist. This hearty brew will have a rich mahogany color, caramel notes, and a hint of herbal flavor.
