Butcher & the Boar in Minneapolis is hosting Boarfest on Sunday, from noon-10pm in their tented Beer Garden. The event will feature a ton of craft Oktoberfest beers including Bell’s, Victory, Great Lakes, Lake Superior, Two Brothers Atom Smasher, Surly and more. They’ll also have a cask of Fulton’s The Libertine.
They’ll be serving grilled foods ranging from boar brats to oysters and will feature live music from Drew Peterson, Tim Mahoney, City on the Make, Jack Brass Band, Luke Warm and the Cool Hands.

Al McCarty and Brad “Beerguy” Magerkurth will be tapping the 1st official production draft offering of mead in kegs at The Blue Nile from 5-8pm, Tuesday, October 2nd November 1st. The mead is dry hopped with Centennial and Amarillo and is the creation of Redstone Meadery in Boulder, CO and Meadmaker David Meyers. Juniper, Black Raspberry, Apricot Nectar, Traditional and “Nectar of the Hops” dry-hopped meads will all be available to sample for free!
