Summit Taproom Opens Next Friday

“Tap rooms are a step in the right direction for Minnesota breweries; it’s a return to tradition and historical experiences.” – Mark Stutrud, Summit Brewing Co.

Summit Brewing Co., the Twin Cities’ largest brewery announced upcoming taproom hours for its Ratskeller today, with a launch on  Friday September 28th from 3-8pm. Next Friday’s fun will include a half-barrel of Summit’s Export Stout (last seen at Great Taste of the Midwest Autumn Brew Review IIRC) and music from Summit’s own Hotpants DJs. Barrio’s food truck will be on hand as well to help fill your belly.

Fridays at Summit’s taproom will feature all of their current beers as well as cask-conditioned and specialty beers from the brewery’s pilot system. Expect food trucks each Friday as well as outdoor patio space as weather permits. Watch Summit’s Twitter & Facebook for updates.

26 years ago Summit delivered their first keg to Johnny’s Bar, across from their old brewery on University in St. Paul. They’ve come a long way! Cheers to Summit!
