Ryan Anderson (that's me!) is the editor & founder of MNBeer. Much has changed since the fall of 2005 and I'm proud to have been a part of it all. Sometime I'll tell you about my grand theory that links craft brewing to punk rock. Just ask.

Granite City Beer Release: Scottish Ale

I recently discovered that an old friend manages the Granite City in Roseville. She let me know that they’ll be tapping their Scottish ale on January 16th at 5:00 pm. I think all of the Granite City restaurants are on the same schedule, but I’m not entirely sure. Drink up!

PedalPub Update

News from the PedalPub guys:

JANUARY 2007

It’s getting exciting! As of Friday, we’ll have our new business phone number – 952-703-9000. Our purchase agreement is being finalized, with a March 1 planned delivery date. We also met with Paul Selcke, proprietor of CycleSeven.com”, who has been running a seven-person conference bike in Minneapolis for about 14 months. Paul was VERY helpful, and we look forward to partnering with him on several events in the future.

And we’ve narrowed our logo down to two choices. A VISUAL question for you this time: DROP US A NOTE and tell us which one you like best! We’ll call them “THE TRIANGLE” and “THE SCROLL”. (see attachments.) Tell us what you like (or dislike) about each one.

Thanks so much for all our leads with people in the city government, police department, and parks department last month! We have contacted many of them, and many of them are excited about the PedalPub, and are helping us on our way. And one of your leads was a channel 9 reporter who wants to do a story on us. Woo hoo!

Our website is still under construction, but at least the one we have up now is a little more graphical. Stop in once in a while to check our progress!
