Barley John’s 9th Anniversary

This Monday 3/16/09 is Barley John’s 9th Anniversary. We will be releasing our annual Anniversary Ale – come out and help us celebrate 9 great years of brewing and restauranteering!

We will also have our St. Patrick’s Day menu available:

Anniversary Ale (6.5%abv) – We brew this Strong Irish Red Ale to celebrate both our Anniversary and the closely aligned St. Patrick’s Day holiday. Hopped with English Fuggle hops and fermented with an British Isle strain, this strong red enjoys a caramel & bready finish from the use of flaked barley and crystal malts in the mash.

Double Oat Stout (4.9%) – This oatmeal stout is brewed with two types of oats to give a smooth start with a classic roast profile of a stout. Brewed with UK Fuggle hops and fermented with our house strain.

Summit at the Walker

20.21 at the Walker Art Center will be presenting a Summit beer dinner on Wednesday, April 15th.

$65 (includes tax & gratuity) will get you a meal of:

Vine Park 1 Year Growler Birthday

March 18th marks the one year birthday of Vine Park’s growler sales. To celebrate they will be tapping a keg of Black Magic Imperial Stout on Saturday, March 14th that has been stashed away. Growlers of the Magic will be on a first come, first serve basis with a limit of one per customer. Vine Park will be open at 9 AM.

In addition to this brew, customers that purchase a Year of Beer growler card between March 17 and March 21 will have the choice of either a free growler jug or 22 oz logo glass.
