March 18th marks the one year birthday of Vine Park’s growler sales. To celebrate they will be tapping a keg of Black Magic Imperial Stout on Saturday, March 14th that has been stashed away. Growlers of the Magic will be on a first come, first serve basis with a limit of one per customer. Vine Park will be open at 9 AM.
In addition to this brew, customers that purchase a Year of Beer growler card between March 17 and March 21 will have the choice of either a free growler jug or 22 oz logo glass.
Don’t these guys charge quite a bit for growlers? Seems to me a new growler, filled, is like $20+.
$20 isn’t “quite a bit” for a growler + fill in my opinion. Depending on the brew, you’ll pay that much at other places around town.
Actually, truth be told, your first growler filled with handcrafted brew is $16.34 including the taxes. Refills are $10 plus taxes and we don’t charge additional for the high gravity beers.
Come try one.
Not a bad price at all. Hell even at $20 a growler you’re still looking at $5 a pint. Most wouldn’t think that’s unreasonable for a beer at the bar.
