Red Cape Ale Release Party
Flat Earth has a new beer, Red Cape Ale, made in conjunction with Fire & Brimstone Society, the charitable arm of The Saint Paul Vulcans. Red Cape Ale is an easy drinking Irish Red ale with hints of caramel and chocolate.
Red Cape Ale draft release party will be at Burger Moe’s (242 W 7th St. in good old St. Paul) starting at 5 p.m.
Growlers of Red Cape will be available on Wednesday December 7th at the brewery.
22 oz bottles will be hitting the stores on Thursday and Friday.

Beer School Today (Wed.) with Harriet Brewing
Tonight, Beer School welcomes Jason Sowards of Harriet Brewing. In addition to several of their regular offerings, Jason will be sampling a dry hopped batch of their Belgian Golden Strong, Divine Oculust, which is yet to be released.
Entrance to the class is $5 as usual, but the semester rate has been reduced to $10 for the remaining 3 classes. 6-7pm Wed., Republic.
Events at Northern Brewer Minneapolis
The new Northern Brewer Minneapolis store (6021 Lyndale Ave. S.) has a classroom area that will be used for brew sessions, classes, workshops and guest speakers. Over the next two weekends, the place will be packed with visitors from the realm of sports, homebrew and craft beer.

Minneapolis Council Member John H. Quincy will be on hand to say a few words about Minneapolis Homebrew day, an official proclamation by Mayor R.T. Rybak and the city of Minneapolis! We’re inviting pro-brewers and homebrewers alike to join us in this symbolic event!
