Up in the northwest suburbs this afternoon? If not, you should be, because Princeton’s in Maple Grove will be sampling the new beers from Summit! The Unchained #7, Honeymoon Saison, and the 25th Anniversary beer will be open for you to enjoy. That’s today, Friday, in about a half an hour!
Tonight at Grumpy’s Northeast they will be pouring Fulton’s Lonely Blonde through a randall filled with basil, rosemary and red peppers. If that doesn’t sound tasty enough, they will also be pairing the beer with the carnivore chronic of Salumi’s Meats from Seattle.
This is cool – Northern Brewer will be conducting a fresh (wet) hop buy this harvest season.
Yes, that’s right, we are bringing in fresh (wet) leaf hops that will be directly shipped via air after harvest to our retail store. This is a perfect opportunity to brew a wet hop or harvest beer if you are not currently growing hops.
We are offering Cascade, Centennial, Chinook, Citra and Simcoe by the pound.

Fitty just got back from Oregon and he’s all jacked up about Deschutes. This Friday Derek from Deschutes will be at Thomas Liquors in St. Paul pouring their year-round offerings as well as a handful of their specialties. Fitty also has some goodies from Oregon he might want to share.
