Does Steven Wright, George Carlin or any of the other comedians who have said these things before get any credit?

  2. Aubrey says:

If they said it before, I certainly didn’t recall it at the time I posted my entry.

Thanks to all who voted for me. 🙂

  3. There is little or no originality of ideas. If we were to cite the source of the ideas we give voice to, our conversations would collapse under a deluge of footnotes, corrections, and asides.

  4. DanK says:

I wasn’t speaking about your entry Aubrey. I thought yours was pretty good. Sorry for the broad statement.

I’m not harping or being negative about it. I just figured a quote used word for word was over the top.

  5. Aubrey says:

    No worries, DanK.

    Prost!

Who invented irony? Steven Wright? George Carlin? Yogi Berra? Socrates? God? Or Dog?
