Stout Week at Groveland Tap

Groveland Tap, St. PaulWhen I think winter, inevitably, I think of stouts (and porters for that matter) and all things dark. So it’s only fitting that Groveland Tap celebrates the chill with their Stout Week next week. They’ve got a nice lineup of stouts and plan to have specials on flights as well as food made with stout. They’ll be tapping the beers listed below at 5pm on Monday and pour them ’til they run dry. Enjoy!

Lift Bridge, Summit Oatmeal, Big Wood Morning Wood, 3rd Street Sugar Shack, Brau Bros. Moo Joos, Odell Lugene, Millstream Backroad, 21st Amendment Oyster, Founder’s Breakfast, Tall Grass Buffalo Sweat with Vanilla Bean, Goose Island Bourbon County, Guinness and a cask of Fulton Worthy Adversary.

Beer description from the brewery: Lift Bridge Brewery’s English-Style Barleywine ale is brewed with excessive malt and subtle, sweet cardamom. The beer is aged at the brewery in bourbon barrels from Heaven Hill Distillery in Kentucky for a number of months. The beer’s bold, complex flavor reaches heights measured only by the building of its namesake. This 12.5% ABV treat is best enjoyed in smaller portions when you have some time to savor it, between now and 2021.
