We won’t pretend to know coffee – thankfully Andrew Kopplin does… Dawn and I stopped by Kopplin’s Coffee today before visiting Summit for my step-brother’s birthday and walked away with some excellent coffee. I’ll leave the musing about coffee to Twin Cities Imbiber, but Kopplin’s Coffee is definitely worth a visit… or five…
Happy Gnome Firkin Fest Update
In case you missed our previous post on the event, here’s the skinny:
50+ firkins, tapped at noon on March 16th. $5 cover… firkins from Rush River, Bell’s, Victory, Surly, Summit, Schell’s, Rogue, Flat Earth and more.
It all takes place at The Happy Gnome. Don’t say we didn’t warn you! Watch their website for updates.
Twin Cities Imbiber #3 online
Yes, the spring issue of Twin Cities Imbiber is online now. Look for it in print shortly. Features include pieces on Rush River Brewing Co., a beer history piece, a spotlight on Dennis Brothers Liquors, brewing coffee at home, Ciroc Vodka and more.
Some good local news as well… here’s a tidbit… Summit Hefe Weizen will be returning to Minnesota this summer. It makes sense – after all, we can’t let those Chicago folks
Summit flights at the Happy Gnome tonight
Speaking of Summit…
Summit beers will be featured tonight at 7pm at The Happy Gnome. Brewery staff should be on hand and flights of Summit should be available throughout the evening.
