Beer Tasting and Tailgating

The Chef’s Gallery & Lift Bridge are scheming against the dull day you had planned in November.

The guys behind Lift Bridge Brewery are dedicated to eating and drinking with the utmost regard to pleasure – pure and simple! Learn about the brewing process and beer ingredients while sampling several distinct Lift Bridge beers that you will learn to taste from a culinary standpoint.

They will prepare some of their favorite tailgating foods: Brad’s Famous Bloody Mary Bar, Crosscut Pork Lollipops (made with Crosscut Pale Ale), Bacon-wrapped Jalapeño Poppers, Mini Blucy Burgers (inspired by friends and owners of The Blue Door Pub in St. Paul), and Fall-spiced Vegetable Skewers, made with exclusively local produce.

Cost: $60
Location: The Chef’s Gallery, 324 S. Main St., Stillwater
To register call (651-351-1144), stop in at The Chef’s Gallery or complete the online form.

Lucky they aren’t in Minneapolis where tailgating is against city ordinance. Damn old ordinances.

Trav: They’ve started enforcing it sadly. A couple places have been fined. I know Cowboy Slims has been warned (maybe fined). Hopefully they get things changed soon.
