Blueberry Blonde at Boathouse

Curious what’s going on in Ely? We’re always especially interested in hearing what’s going on at Boathouse Brewpub… here’s the skinny… they’ll have Blueberry Blonde on tap next weekend for the Blueberry Arts Festival in Ely. It is made with their blonde and infused with fresh blueberries pureed on site.  They’ll have limited supply of ths since it’s our first attempt it but they plan having this on tap when possible. Sounds tasty!

Anyone been up here and tried any brews? The Wild Rice ESB sounds interesting.

I would have expected to see these guys show up a fest or two by now. Kind of strange they havent, no?

It would be nice to give their beers a try, seeing that I dont plan on heading that far north anytime soon.

Yeah, Ely may as well be another planet! Seriously though, maybe its time to hit the BWCAW again.

I’ve been to the Boathouse twice. Haven’t had the Blueberry Blonde, but the beers I’ve had have been excellent, especially the Stuart’s IPA. And the Entrypoint Golden is an American style lager that a beer-lover can actually enjoy. The Boathouse beer compares well with some of the best I’ve had in western Massachusetts.

I was impressed too. Had the rye pale ale which was very tasty. There’s nothing better after a week in the Boundary Waters.
