Fitty’s First Friday: Tallgrass

Thomas Liquor is hosting another edition of Fitty’s First Friday on September 7.  This month’s featured brewery is Tallgrass, represented by Rob Shellman, certified cicerone and patron of the Better Beer Society.  This is a great chance to taste the whole range from Tallgrass and get into some serious geek talk.

Bicicletas for Tour de Breweries with Lucid

As a veteran bike & beer enthusiast, I’ve got to say that this sounds like a blast. Lucid is holding a Bikes & Beer event on Friday, September 21st. “Bicicletas for Tour de Breweries!” Join the group as they adventure and taste/tour their way through 5 local breweries.

Lucid Brewing will host Tour & Tasting for 60 Bikers. Please bring either 2 cans of food which will be donated to Minnesota food shelves or $5 which will be donated to Lake Minnetonka environmental restoration.This Tour will fill fast. Please RSVP ASAP.

Autumn Brew Review Week of Events

I hope you guys are ready for a week of rare beers, amazing dinners and other generally awesome beer events because that is what is about to happen to the Twin Cities! The week of September 10-15th Minneapolis and Saint Paul will be teeming with beer events, with the finale at ABR on the 15th. Schell’s Oktoberfest Celebration!

August Schell Brewing Company has announced the first Oktoberfest celebration on brewery grounds.

Bavarian tent with great Oktoberfest atmosphere!  Dancing, singing, food, and beer!

Live music: 11:00-1:00pm: Schell’s Hobo Band; 1:30-5:00: Alpensterne
