Wonder if we’ll see them producing any ales in the future. I was there with 2 German exchange students the other night. Left with a $72 tab thanks to the one I was chatting with always replying for me to the waitress that I’ll have another one.

They need to concentrate on a few of their Lagers first before worrying about ales.

Ha! But hey, at least they got the Kellerbier down, right?

Correct beachscrat, good stuff. A beer style a few enjoy and understand.

I thought the gose they did last summer was excellent. I also like their kolsch, alt and hefeweizen quite a bit too.

They need to work on their consistency. Everytime I went or had growlers at Mashout the quality was spotty at best. I want to like them but butter is not a good thing in a Kolsh.

Yikes. I haven’t experienced that, thankfully.

Ryan > They have the Gose on right now. The German girls seemed to like it. They didn’t care of Prima Pils but enjoyed Oberon and others.

Herkimer’s previous brewer is opening a sake bar down the way from what I’ve been told.

Gustavo has actually been there for about six months already. When I spoke to him at the City Pages event, he’d been there for a few months already.
