Vine Park Update

Heat stroke has struck us. Now in the cooler are four varieties of our all-grain beer in Growlers, so come on down & grab them while you can.

Helles Bock – a light colored full flavored session lager from Munich

Black Bavarian – black, smooth, and chocolate goodness

Bitter Electrician – traditional British style IPA with a true bite to it

Bavarian Hefeweizen – cloudy, pale, and redolent with the aromas of banana & clove.

I hope you have four growlers, because you’ll want them all. Remember, we do accept old Surly growler (up to two per customer) in exchange for ours.

Tuesday Growlers

Well, you’ve made it through Monday and by the time growler sales start this afternoon at Flat Earth, you’ll be nearly halfway through the week.

Tonight’s selections:
Belgian Pale Ale
Black Helicopter Coffee Stout
Element 115 Lager
Unfiltered 115
Hep Cat Ale (in case you didn’t make it to the Twin Cities Jazz Fest over the weekend, here’s your opportunity to try this Blond Ale)
Northwest Passage IPA
Sunburst Apricot Ale

Indulge Winners

Congrats to Lift Bridge for taking the Best Beer title at last Saturday’s Indulge event with their newest brew, Minnesota Tan! For those that haven’t tried it yet, it’s made with lingonberries and is a refreshing treat for the warm (ok, HOT) weather that is now upon us.

Keeping the honors within the state were John Henry from Cold Spring and Scotch Ale from Brau Brothers who tied for second.

Reading Material

Summer’s here and according to quite a few publications, we’re supposed to have more time for reading. If those lists have left you wanting, maybe Randy Mosher’s new book “Tasting Beer: An Insider’s Guide to the World’s Greatest Drink” will do it for you. The book highlights some of our homegrown favorites.
