Summit Spinnin’ During Grumpy’s NE Minnesota Mondays
Every third Monday, a Summit employee will be playing DJ behind the bar at Grumpy’s NE as part of Grumpy’s Minnesota Mondays. Enjoy $2.25 pints of EPA and Maibock from 5-9 and DJ action from 7-9pm. Tonight the event kicks off with Ben Mena from packaging at Summit. Ben also happens ot be part of Hotpants DJs who spin rare funk and soul on vinyl.
Wild Cask at Barley John’s
Barley John’s is upping their Wednesday cask beer game this week with a “wild” version.
Mark your calendars now – this Wednesday around 4pm we will be tapping a cask of Saison Brunette – our first WILD Wild Brunette. I kept 5 gallons of the wort last time the beer was brewed, fermented it with a French Saison Yeast as well as Brettanomyces bruxellensis. It has been aging for nearly 7 weeks in the cask now, so it should have some great bretty-funk to it. This one is going to go fast, folks!
Pig B-Side Beer Fest: Session Beers
Time for another B-Side event at The Muddy Pig featuring session beers. These are full flavored but lower alcohol beers designed for all day enjoyment. They will have 15-20 of these tasty brews on tap for you to enjoy by the glass or in flights of three 5oz glasses allowing you to try them all. Flights are available all day!
