PUMPKIN ALE [6.8%] Brewed with pumpkin and a mixture of spices, this orangish ale remembers that it is first a beer and then a spiced holiday treat. Subtle hits of ginger, cinnamon and pumpkin flavor come through with a slightly sweet malt finish. A perfect accompaniment to any holiday feast!

IMPERIAL STOUT [9.3%] Black as night with a creamy head, this stout is a a true imperial in body, taste and abv. Carbonated with nitrogen, the beer has a rich, smooth body and silky head. Only available in house – no growlers.

WBBA Talk with Omar & Jim

Thanks for the head’s up, Matt! The West Bank Brewing Association is having another night of beer and policy conversation tonight at 7:30 at Republic, featuring some guy named Omar from Surly and Jim from Fulton. Read on friends.

Greetings! The West Bank Brewing Association would like to invite you to join us for an evening of good beer and conversation with two all stars from the Twin Cities brewing community. Special guests Omar Ansari, Founder of Surly Brewing Company and Jim Diley, General Counsel and Co-Founder of Fulton Brewing Company, will headline an evening at RePUBlic to discuss the Taproom Bill, their views on the state of the beer economy in the Twin Cities, and other other topics relevant to beer enthusiasts and law/policy wonks alike. Reminder: Commander Release at Lift Bridge Saturday

Lift Bridge is throwing a party for the release their newest beer, Commander Barleywine, a 12.5% English-style barleywine brewed with “heavy fists of malts and subtle, sweet cardamom,” then aged in Heaven Hill Distillery bourbon barrels.

Your ticket gets you:
Sample of the Commander™ and a Limited Release glass
Live music throughout the day
Games – Hammerschlagen, Bags tournament and Commander™ Mustache Contest (Start growing it now!)

In addition, there will be food from local food trucks (TBA) and Lift Bridge beer for purchase.

While you’re at the brewery purchasing your ticket for the release party, why not also purchase a ticket good for a 750ml bottle of the Commander? Those tickets are $15 each and limited to 6 per person. The bottles will be available for pick up at the release party through the end of the year.
