Perhaps you missed this little gem while pouring over the ABR program or perusing all of this week’s events.
Some things you don’t want to miss:
- Dates are set for ticket sales for Winterfest 2013 (Dec. 1 at noon), All Pints North (April 15th at noon) and Autumn Brew Review 2013 (July 15th at noon). As a bonus, you’ll be able to buy tickets for Autumn Brew Review two days early at All Pints North on July 13th.
- Secondly, on Dec. 10th, you’ll be able to buy a package of tickets for all Minneesota Craft Brewers Guild events all in one fell swoop. Winterfest, All Pints North and Autumn Brew Review. Not a bad idea for those of you who go to all of the festivals! I was told today that 250 Winterfest tickets would be set aside for this special package. So come Dec. 10th, get on it. We look forward to see your
drunk assessmiling faces at all Guild events.
What’s the price for the ticket pack? I am guessing between $115 – $135 per pack.
My only question is, why are they selling the packages after the Winterfest tickets go on sale? Theoretically, if more than 250 people want to purchase packages and hold-off on purchasing Winterfest tickets to do so, then they’re SOL for Winterfest. I think a bit of re-thinking needs to go into this unless I’m totally missing something here.
I have a bad feeling as to how the ticket pack sale will work out. I really wish the Guild would go to a straight lottery system (or a system like the Great Taste of the Midwest).
