St. Croix Valley Brew-B-Que

Satisfy your BBQ and beer hunger the last Saturday in May at Lift Bridge Brewing Company in Stillwater.

The St. Croix Valley Brew-B-Que is the collaborative effort of Croix Valley Sauces, Heritage Liquor, and Lift Bridge Brewing Co. The main focus of this party is a BBQ competition, tasty craft beers, and highlighting our local businesses. We set out to have an event that we would want to attend, with the financial benefit going to our local food shelf Valley Outreach. But wait, there’s more… games, bands, chicken races, prizes, eating contest, beer dunk tank, more food, and more beer!

Cash, check and most credit cards accepted.

Wild Cask at Barley John’s

Barley John’s is upping their Wednesday cask beer game this week with a “wild” version.

Mark your calendars now – this Wednesday around 4pm we will be tapping a cask of Saison Brunette – our first WILD Wild Brunette. I kept 5 gallons of the wort last time the beer was brewed, fermented it with a French Saison Yeast as well as Brettanomyces bruxellensis. It has been aging for nearly 7 weeks in the cask now, so it should have some great bretty-funk to it. This one is going to go fast, folks!
