Did anyone attend this event last year? Sounds interesting.

Huh. After looking at the pictures from last year, it looked like it was sparsely attended, which I don’t mind one bit because I hate crowds.

I attended last year and really enjoyed it. It was pretty small but very uncrowded so you got a lot of face time with the different brewers. I think you can easily get your 25 dollars worth of beer in since the samples were in a pretty good sized glass that you also get to keep.

I think I ate about 10 dollars worth of Bass Lake Cheese samples. That stuff is awesome!

Hmmmm, NordEast pub crawl starts at 3:30pm that day. Not sure which one I’ll goto.

As one familar with the event, I’d say you shouldn’t miss this! A fabulous Sat afternoon in beautiful downtown Stillwater…amazing…plus…there’s plenty of bars to retire to after the event!! Definitely a must attend!

I agree with Scott and Rosencrantz – this is a cool event. At the festival, they give you a wrist band, so you can come and go as you please. Some of the beer booths are inside the Inn, some are outside on the deck. You can also grab some lunch at the Water Street Inn and enjoy it on their patio. Last year they had a street fair in Stillwater going at at the same time, if you needed to stretch your legs you could go wander around and then head back for more beer and cheese samples.

Looking forward to it. This’ll be my first.

The girlfriend purchased tickets for this today, and I’m a little bit excited–giggity giggity.

I just called the number they have on Beeradvocate for this — 651-338-8343 — and in case anyone was worried, the guy said that designated drivers can get in for free. They’ll have “soda” (Stillwater is clearly too close to the Wisconsin border) for the non-drinkers.

I guess free entrance for designated drivers is pretty standard, but whatever…

Looks like I’m gonna skip this one. Gonna head to Surly to get a couple bottles of Two and then head out and get some Coffee Bender.
