Summit Sparkling Ale

…no it’s not a new beer. It’s an old beer… a 1989 bronze medal winner at GABF in the Blond/Golden Ale category. I also ran across a mention of Summit Christmas Ale (the name that likely preceded Summit Winter Ale) in an 80s-era beer book at Half Price Books. I occasionally stop into the store during lunch breaks to check for copies of the Classic Beer Styles books.

Anyway, it’s a slow news day. Discuss. Did you ever drink this beer? What did you think?

Loved the Sparkling Ale, drank tons of it when it came out long, long ago. So long ago, I bet wanker was still in diapers.
