On Tuesday, August 21st Acadia Cafe will be offering flights of Great Lakes Beer for only $6! Get a 4 ounce pour of each of the following: Holy Moses, Wright Pils, Dortmunder Gold, Doppelrock, Lake Erie Monster & Rye of the Tiger! Or you can do pints of Holy Moses, Wright Pils, Dortmunder Gold & Doppelrock or 12 ounce pours of Lake Erie Monster & Rye of the Tiger for $4.

…and Summit Unchained #11 is…

Old 152. We don’t know a lot about this beer quite yet, though we do know that Summit brewer Eric Harper is tackling this one. According to the stats, it will fall just short of 6% abv.

Old 152, I presume, refers to the now-gone Minnesota State Highway 152, that once stretched between Minneapolis and St. Cloud.

Last Night’s Schell’s Rooftop Pig Roast at Sky Bar in Pictures

Last night atop the Uptown Cafeteria on the Sky Bar some food and Schell’s beer magic happened. It was my first experience at a beer dinner and it was well worth the wait. Here’s what it looked like.

This year’s  takes place on Saturday, September 15th from 1-5 at the Historic Grain Belt Brewery complex in Northeast Minneapolis. This year ABR returns to a single session, with an afternoon of great local and craft beer, food, music and other fun.
